Enable Loftware Event Logging


 


Enable Loftware Event Logging

 
1: Stop Loftware Services

 

Navigate to the 'Start Menu.'
Select 'Control panel.'
Go to:

  1. Administrative tools
  2. Services
  3. Loftware Web Listener
  4. select Stop
  5. click Apply
  6. select OK

 



2: Web Listener - Configuration

 

Navigate to the 'Start Menu.'

Go to: All Programs | Loftware Clients | Web Listener – Configuration.  
 

Log Configuration:

  1. Select the check box for Enable Interactive Log
  2. Select the check box for Enable Event Message Log
  3. Select Apply
  4. Click OK





3: Web Listener - Interactive

Navigate to the 'Start Menu.' 
 

All Programs | Loftware Clients | Web Listener - Interactive 

  1. Select Start
  2. Check for errors: copy any errors that are listed in the text box
  3. Click Stop 
  4. Select Exit
     

(info) Email the copied error to  PTS_US@parker.com with the Subject: Web Listener Error. 



 


4: Start Loftware Services

 

Navigate to the 'Start Menu.' 
Select 'Control panel.'
Go to:

  1. Administrative tools
  2. Services
  3. Loftware Web Listener
  4. Select Start
  5. click Apply
  6. select OK

     (thumbs up) It is a PTS recommend best practice to select 'Automatic' as the Startup type in Loftware.
