Enable Loftware Event Logging
Enable Loftware Event Logging
1: Stop Loftware Services
Navigate to the 'Start Menu.'
Select 'Control panel.'
Go to:
- Administrative tools
- Services
- Loftware Web Listener
- select Stop
- click Apply
- select OK
2: Web Listener - Configuration
Navigate to the 'Start Menu.'
Go to: All Programs | Loftware Clients | Web Listener – Configuration.
Log Configuration:
- Select the check box for Enable Interactive Log
- Select the check box for Enable Event Message Log
- Select Apply
- Click OK
3: Web Listener - Interactive
Navigate to the 'Start Menu.'
All Programs | Loftware Clients | Web Listener - Interactive
- Select Start
- Check for errors: copy any errors that are listed in the text box
- Click Stop
- Select Exit
Email the copied error to PTS_US@parker.com with the Subject: Web Listener Error.
4: Start Loftware Services
Navigate to the 'Start Menu.'
Select 'Control panel.'
Go to:
- Administrative tools
- Services
- Loftware Web Listener
- Select Start
- click Apply
- select OK
It is a PTS recommend best practice to select 'Automatic' as the Startup type in Loftware.
